Embracing darkness is much more difficult than it seems, it’s not just capturing some black and white photos and calling it a day.
It’s about seeking the right balance between light and dark, chasing shadows instead of light, using darkness to enhance the subject of the imagery whether that’s a pop of colour, distant framing, geometric shapes or otherwise.
